i got the lava latte and a cinnamon twist and both were pretty good i would definitely recommend coming here

We landed in Kona and went straight to Kona Heaven Coffee before lunch nearby. Oh yeah! Enjoyed a smooth and strong iced latte overlooking Kailua Bay. The smell and taste of rich Kona coffee plus the sight and sound of the ocean across the street...two of my favorite things! Let the vacation relaxation begin. I love their coffee so much that I had to buy a few bags of espresso beans to take home. Highly recommend a visit if you're in the Kona area!

DAY 2 of Vacation - My mission in Hawaii was to visit as much local Kona coffee shops as I can. We had a big day ahead of us, so we wanted a light breakfast. This spot was located in downtown, and it was on the way to our destination. Parking: There is plenty of street parking and parking lots. Majority of the parking spots have a fee. There are signs everywhere on how to pay via phone. I asked the barista if they validate. Unfortunately they do not. But the barista told me "they don't really check before 11am." So we didn't pay for parking lol. Ambiance/Environment: I love the open space. It is a small spot with no indoor seating and very limited outdoor seating. My favorite part was seeing the large coffee maker dripping fresh Kona coffee. Service: Shout to Jill. She took our order and was patient, quick, and efficient. We received our orders within 10 minutes of ordering. Food & Drinks: 1) Ham, Egg, Cheese Croissant - This tasted as expected. The ham and egg was cooked well, and the croissant was toasty. 2) Lava Latte - Iced only. This is an iced vanilla latte with vanilla ice cream and Oreo crumbles. This drink was definitely sweet. I like sweet coffee, so I didn't mind. They were very generous with the Oreo crumbs. 3) Hawaiian Monster - Iced only. This is an iced latte with blue curacao citrus flavor syrup. I don't like citrus, but my BIL & MIL really enjoyed this drink. This wasn't overly sweet. 4) Aloha Berry - Blueberry, strawberry, with cranberry juice smoothie. My bf wanted something fresh and healthy. This was recommended to him. He really enjoyed this drink!

This place was super cute and had a really nice outdoor seating area. They had avocado toasts and different pastries, we didn't eat here though because we had previously eaten but we did stop to try an ube latte. Service was quick and friendly and they were quite busy. I would definitely come back here and I recommend it!

We randomly ended up here because of needing caffeine early in the morning. They had a pretty extensive menu of coffee, non-coffee drinks, food, and baked treats (wish I took pics of these). I forgot which drink I got, which was probably an iced latte because I'm a latte gal, but it was good and I really liked it. My friend got the Americano and he said it was good, too. I really wanted to try the affogato or lava latte but didn't seem like it was a good drink for 7:30 in the morning. What was really cool about this place was the seating area on the porch of the café. Hopefully my picture of it shows up on my review. Such a beautiful view while drinking your coffee. We didn't get to sit and enjoy our drinks with the view, but if you have the time, definitely take the time to sit on their porch. FYI: There is parking in the back and they did have a seating area in the back, too.

Great views of the ocean. Decent selection of pastries. Good quality beans. Overall I think the price was a bit steep. I was ecstatic to find pour overs on the menu! But two cups of pourover coffee ended up costing me 30 dollars. They weren't like 20 oz or anything either. I'd have appreciate hawaiian coffee pourovers from the hawaiian coffee bean region to have costed less. I get it, pourovers are expensive, good beans are expensive... but 15 dollars for a 12 or 16 oz pourover is just overkill for me. If you're looking for a bright and early start to your morning with coffee, I would come here. Grab a latte, take a stroll on the beach, watch the waves and just chill.
